Recombinant Human UbE2G2
ScienCell’s Recombinant Human UbE2G2 (6xHis-UbE2G2) is for research use only. It is not approved for human or animal use, or for application in clinical or in vitro diagnostic procedures.
Recombinant Human UbE2G2 is a member of the Ubiquitin-conjugating (E2) enzyme family that acquires Ubiquitin from a Ubiquitin-activating (E1) enzyme and subsequently reacts with a Ubiquitin ligase (E3) to conjugate Ubiquitin to substrate proteins. UbE2G2 is known for its role in endoplasmic reticulum-associated degradation (ERAD) by interacting with the E3 ligase called GP78 to catalyze K48 – linked Ub chains. Furthermore, UbE2G2 also plays a role in the innate immune response (in regulating STING signaling).
